Ramp Attack sunday adventures

11 o'clock sunday morning, the epic adventure started.

Met up with Pommie at the train station and headed off to Mountain Creek to pick up bmx bitch Tyjana and her friend Amber. Amber and Tyjana had been at a party the night before and young amber without question just put it out there that she got put on the spit.. now if you dont know what this is, well.. im not going to explain.
Im a big fan of putting things out there but, stuff like that. Keep it to yourself.

By 12 we were on the road to the Infamous ramp attack, Tyjana had no money so we had to stop at her house in Redcliff had a bit of a chill in her empty spaa and waited for her dads girlfriend



By 3 we arrived at ramp attack when it should only take about 50 - 60 mins usually to drive.
Girls, you know..

Met up with All the Yandina boys, some Cali boys, and also Alex and Kawana locals.
Was good fun

Except for some reason my camera or lens were being fuck up and not focusing properly so i only got about 2 photos from the day and night that i really liked






Im even pissed off with the quality of these shots but yeah itll do.

Left ramp attack at 9:30 ish, played silly buggers with Mitch up the high way. Bottles and cans of coke were thrown at eachother form car to car, my flash was used as a weapon many times and even a full frozen coke was hurled at Mitchs car.

Had a hoot of a time and i think im heading there again tomorrow! (Wednesday 31 March)


On Other news i just purchased a Vivitar Professional 285 HV Flash along with 1 wireless transmitter and 6 recievers to add to my collection. they should be here by next week and i assure you there will be Plenty of shots coming out of these babys.

Today we had another one of our notorious friday Beerwah banger sessions with the boys.
Todays session consisted of some good blokes and some sped with a broken ankle! yeah macka you!

Honestly, i dont think i have enough Witt to explain how amazing Ramp Attack was in a blog. Although, i am a photographer and a photo tells a thousand words, so rather then me bore you with paragraphs and paragraphs of ramblings on the jizz capability of this park.

Ramblings

So, I was laying in bed last night trying to get to sleep and my thoughts wondered off and i began to wonder. The BMX scene lately has turned into a trend more then a sport, maybe Trend isnt the right word but itll do.

Lately i have been seeing more competition between the way you ride, instead of the tricks you do. I'd say about a year ago we used to only care who was pulling the biggest, technical est and the most outrageous stunts. Now, everyone seems to be fighting over how the tricks are done.

Now some people only class Tables, as Tables if your feet stay on the pedals. As where others only class it if your feet aren't on them. Tucks with your hands above bars instead of your hands below bars, Whips catching cranks not pedals visa versa.

Riders have become a lot more 'Bitchier' and there are even rival groups! What happened to the good ol' days where we all used to hang at the local parks, have a good time, congratulate big tricks and laugh off the crashes. Most of us are becoming more 'Saltier' and more aggressive towards eachother.

I dunno, maybe its just me. maybe im talking to the wrong people.
Or maybe im going crazy?
But whatever hey.

Just get out there and keep shredding! :D


Lets hope that makes sense to one of you, because reading over it, its made absolutely none to me.

Mack Attack!

Method and brakes will always count, so will cut sleeves.

For the past few days the boys from Method and myself have been having sessions at the local Beerwah skatepark.
Been producing some quality work from it aswell.
Moe and Mackle have definitely stepped up since i last rode with them!


Today the rain Held off for a good 4 hours which resulted in some quality photos.



Stoked on Matt pulling this off good work man :)



While the attack of the Mack continued, Moe was ripping out the big ones.



Some stunts found Mackle face down on the cement and bars all muddyed up.
All in all it was a great afternoon:)
